What is the Personal Librarian (PL) Program?

As a part of the First Year Experience Learning Community, you have a Personal Librarian! Your Personal Librarian is available to help you with your research by teaching you some Information Literacy skills. I will be visiting your classes to talk to you about things like database searching. There are also required online tutorials with short quizzes for you to complete on topics like: the research process, choosing a topic, types of sources, developing a search strategy, evaluating resources, and why citations matter. You can find the tutorials and much more here, on this library guide.

I encourage you to visit the library and set up an appointment so that I may help you with any research you have to do. My contact information is below:

Vivian Milczarski

I look forward to hearing from you!

Don't forget--check out the Writing Center for assistance writing papers!
